Thomas “Todd” Tucker, 48, of Nacogdoches passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2011 in Nacogdoches.
A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel located at 5400 North Street in Nacogdoches.

11-00756 / 1030 N University Theft (Enhanced)/SJF theft Warrant Officer Collier and his Father In-Law (SO Reserve Deputy) were off duty, shopping at Fresh Harvest and observed Herod Chatman stuffing meat into his pants. Herod noticed their interest in him and took off running outside of the store. Collier and Father In-Law caught him as he was trying to get into his car. Chatman also had an Enhanced Theft warrant from 2003 South.
P11-00759 / 1630 Cardinal #221 (Unlawful Restraint) Victim stated after an argument she tried to pack her things and leave. Her husband and her father tried to keep her from leaving the house by holding her. Suspect drug her to the ground when she got outside and held her down till she started screaming. He released her then.
P11-00759 / 1707 Boney St. (Assault FV, Interference with Emergency Phone Call) Juvenile Victim stated her mother hit her on her head and pulled out her hair extensions. When she tried to call the police, her mother took the phone away. Tenika Hall was arrested.
P11-00777 / 1600 Douglass (DWI) Vehicle crossed the road and almost struck a police car. When stopped officers found the driver, Arthur Pruitt to be in an intoxicated condition and placed him under arrest.
P11-00797 / 3413 E Main (PI) Mandy Collins had an argument with her husband where she screamed at him and started kicking him. Officers found her in an intoxicated condition and she was arrested.
P11-00802 / 2701 Logan Cir #1903 (Assault FV) Victim stated her ex-boyfriend had been calling her all day, she would not answer. He later met her at her front door and grabbed her by the neck choking her. She stated he also knocked her down in the mud, then left the area.

900 Cariker Theft Officers responded to a prowler call and found that a subject had removed a window A/C unit and left it on the ground. Officer’s located a subject in the area who admitted to taking the unit.
600 NE Stallings Drive Evading Arrest/Driving while License Invalid Officer stopped a vehicle for speeding. The driver pulled over and then took off running into the woods. Officer gave chase and caught the suspect who was found to have a suspended license.
100 E. Main Driving while License Invalid Officer stopped a vehicle due to a traffic violation. The driver was found to have a suspended drivers License and was arrested.
200 Mound Fail to ID (fugitive) Officer stopped a vehicle and contacted the driver who gave a false name. Officer found out the subjects real name and that she had warrants.
4900 NW Stallings Debit Card Abuse Unknown subject left a Debit Card with the store clerk as he pumped several dollars in fuel. He then left the scene and the clerk found that the card was not valid.

Johnny Lee (J. L.) Kimbrough passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2011, in Garrison peacefully with his wife at his side.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 15, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors. Interment is at Bethel Cemetery in Appleby.
Visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, January 14, 2011, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors.
Kimbrough was born May 29, 1935, in Garrison. He was preceded in death by his parents Homer D. Kimbrough and Charlsye Williams Kimbrough. He graduated from Garrison High School and Nacogdoches Business College and was self-employed as an asphalt contractor for 35 years. He was also a member of the Appleby Church of Christ and served as a deacon at North St. Church of Christ.
J. L. loved to garden and play 42 and being outdoors, particularly on his tractors. He also enjoyed spending time with family, relished a good fire in the winter, and sitting on the porch swing watching his grandchildren play.
Survivors include DoraLee, his wife of 54 years; daughters LeeAnn Holley and husband Gordon; Kelleen Murray and husband Dana; and son Michael Kimbrough and wife Heather; grandchildren, Ethan Murray and wife Kayla, Kevin Murray, Dylan Murray, Corbin Murray, Taylor Holley, Cailin Holley, Robert Kimbrough, and Evan Kimbrough; sisters Donna Phillips and Virginia Brandon; sisters-in-law Hazel Phillips, Margaret Russell, Juanita Peterson, and Margaret Peterson; and many nieces, nephews and other family members.
Pallbearers will be Gordon Holley, Dana Murray, David Russell, Gary Russell, Ethan Murray and Tony Wheeler.
Honorary pallbearers are Jack Griffin, Ernest Keith, Dylan Murray, Kevin Murray, Travis Chandler, David Johnson, Robert Stanaland, Coot Brandon and Donnie Austin Jr.
Memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association and the Nacogdoches Treatment Center.
