Marriages
Frederick J. Harkins III, 61, of Etoile, was killed after his motorcycle left the roadway and struck a culvert and was ejected.
Harkins was southbound on FM 226 five miles south of State Highway 103 when it happened. It is unknown if he was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, according to the DPS report.
Harkins was pronounced dead at 6:55 a.m. and taken to Laird Funeral Home. His occupation was reported as a dispatcher and jailer.

James M. Ferguson, 62, of Nacogdoches passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2011 in Nacogdoches. Funeral Services are pending with Laird Funeral Home of Nacogdoches.

Bobby Joe Bush, 76, of Nacogdoches, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2011 in Nacogdoches. He was born on January 20, 1935 in Garrison, the son of Marlin Bush and Ardell McCauley Bush. Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Whiterock Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12 Noon until 1:00 PM before the service at Laird Funeral Home in Nacogdoches. Arrangements are under the direction of Laird Funeral Home of Nacogdoches.

In reference to the Aggravated Robbery- P11-17442. Two black males, both wearing black hoodies and ski masks, entered the Lucky Stop on Douglass Road and threatened the clerk. Both suspects displayed a hand gun. The robbers took an undetermined amount of cash from the clerk, and fled the store on foot. The only additional description is that the suspects were wearing dark pants. The case is under investigation at this time.
