Jason Bridges Pct 4
The Nacogdoches county constable office precinct 4 has arrested one subject in connection with a stolen four wheeler that was taken from Woden, Texas. Constable Bridges stated that his office received information of the location of the stolen four wheeler late Sunday night at a residence in the central heights area. Deputies from both precinct 4 and 1 responded to the residence. Deputies received permission to search the residence and found the stolen four wheeler at the residence that had been previously reported.
Constable Bridges stated that the four wheeler had been repainted from its original color. Officers were able to identify the four wheeler by locating the vin number and other identifying marks on the four wheeler.
The constable office arrested David Rosenbaum Jr, 20 years of age from central heights for the offense of Theft- State jail felony and was transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail. Constable Bridges stated that this investigation is ongoing and we believe that more suspects may have been involved. The four wheeler that was recovered was reported stolen back in july of 2011.
The Stephen F. Austin State University Repertory Dance Company will perform in concert at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 17 and 18, and again at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, in the Lucille Norton HPE Complex, Room 201. The concert will feature works by dance program faculty, guest artists and senior choreographers.
Professor Stan Bobo contributes “After Midnight Before Dawn,” a tap piece about zombies. Adjunct faculty member Heather Samuelson is premiering No Strings Attached and has restaged “Broken Darkness,” a piece she created last spring for the SFA dance program.
Guest artists Birgitt Bodingbauer and Simone Grindel restaged “A Shot in the Dark,” a highly acclaimed piece that won the 2009 SideBySide international online dance festival. Bodingbauer and Grindel are award-winning choreographers from Berlin. During their week at SFA, Bodingbauer and Grindel shared their knowledge of contemporary dance with SFA students.
Guest artist Sarah-Imhoff Jones has restaged “Sieve,” a piece originally choreographed in 1996. Jones holds her M.F.A. in Dance from Sam Houston State University and has more than 10 years of experience in Somatic Therapy. She is also a faculty member at the White Mountain Summer Dance Festival at Sarah Lawrence College.
The concert will also feature choreographic works by senior dance majors Gina Butler, Katie Husfelt, Mirannda Lindberg, Casey Seifert and Brittany Wright.
Following the concert, the Company, directed by Elizabeth Rhodes, will continue rehearsing select works to represent SFA at the American College Dance Festival hosted this year by Texas A&M International University in Laredo.

National Lampoons Christmas Vacation will be shown during the Nine Flags Christmas Festivals Adults Night Out on Thursday, November 17 in downtown Festival Plaza.
Come out and enjoy some holiday fun at Adult’s Night Out in downtown Festival Plaza. Gates open at 6 p.m. and the classic Christmas movie, “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation,” will begin at 7 p.m. Come hungry since pizza will be provided by Papa John’s and beer and wine will be provided by Jack Shack, Inc., all for additional purchase. Tickets are available at the Nacogdoches Convention and Visitors Bureau, 200 East Main, for $5 as well as at the gate.

Celebrating the American flag this year, the Nacogdoches Convention and Visitors Bureau, 200 East Main, will be host to the Johnson Space Center’s traveling exhibit November 21-December 9. Visitors can examine an in-flight spacesuit, shuttle models, info pop-ups, space helmet, and space gloves. Take pictures with the NASA photo opt cut-out, and be sure to watch the PBS Columbia video that will be complementing the exhibit.
Camilla Saulsbury, award-winning cook and best-selling author, will be demonstrating Christmas cooking at its best during A Down-Home Christmas cooking show on Thursday, December 1.
Want to learn more about entertaining for the holidays? Then join us for “A Down-Home Christmas” on Thursday, December 1. Guests will learn how to effectively and beautifully execute cooking, baking, and entertaining for Christmas with help from Camilla Saulsbury, award-winning cook and best-selling author, and her recipes from her newest cookbook, “Piece of Cake.” Local caterer, Kerry Whitsett from Perfectly Edible, will also be doing taste demonstrations of holiday favorites for the crowd to enjoy. The event will be held at the Nacogdoches County Annex, 203 West Main Street.
