One killed, zero injured in a two vehicle crash that happened January 5, at 11:58 a.m. on US 259, mile post 342 in Nacogdoches. The speed limit was 70.
Vehicle one was a 2007 Kenworth, driver was Leon Wood Jr. from near Overton. He had two towed flatbed truck trailers.
Vehicle two was a 2008 Jeep 4-door. The driver was Timothy Dawn Milton of Garrison, 35 years old, a supervisor, who is the deceased.
Vehicle one was northbound on US 259, vehicle two was also northbound on 259. Vehicle two attempted to make a left turn, vehicle one struck vehicle two.
He died at 12:18 p.m. at the scene and was pronounced dead by JP 1, Judge Kerry Don Williamson.
Body was taken to Laird Funeral Home in Nacogdoches. Next of kin was notified. Seatbelt was worn.
