Arthur Dale Miller, 84, of Nacogdoches died Saturday, May 11, 2013, at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.
Mr. Miller was born November 2, 1928, in Kokomo, Indiana, to Noah Miller and Iva (Williams) Miller. He joined the Navy as a teenager during World War II. During his naval service, he participated in atomic bomb testing at Bikini Atoll.
Mr. Miller was in the automotive service business for many years, specializing in Ford Mustang parts and service. He enjoyed restoring Mustangs, dancing, and having fun with his many friends.
He is survived by a daughter, Kathleen D. Miller Suttles of Kokomo, Indiana; two sons, David G. Miller and Robert M. Miller of Utah; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and special friend, Betty Bunch of Nacogdoches.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a half-brother, Kenneth Miller.
A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel, located at 5400 North Street in Nacogdoches, with Rev. John Bingham officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. prior to the service on Wednesday, May 15, 2013.

Pallbearers are Mark Lymbery Sr., David Lymbery, Bob Pagano, Nick Randolph, Blaine Dodd, and Chris Griffin. Honorary pallbearer is Kathy Tatum.
