C&R Kutt Bottle is back at the market this weekend

C & R Kutt Bottle – Creative Glass recycling will be set up this Saturday. They sell drinking glasses, flower vases, self-watering planters, wind chimes and hurricane lamps all made from recycled glass. All the proceeds go to ‘Habitat for Humanity’.

Things you might find this time of year: baked goods (cakes, mini cheesecakes, cookies, fried pies & pies), candles, canned goods (jams & jellies, marmalades, preserves, chow-chow, pickled vegetables, salsas & relishes), artisan Texas cheese, free-range eggs, tilapia fish & fillets, local raw honey, jewelry, plants (cacti, bedding plants, house plants, fruit trees, trees, whips & Valencia heirloom tomatoe plants), organic pork (pork chops, breakfast sausage and REAL bacon), soaps (lye and herbal), sugar cane syrup, tamales, vinegars, fruit wines and wood products.

LOCAL PRODUCE: asparagus, fresh frozen shelled beans (butter, Lima & pinto), beets, cabbage, carrots, celery, cilantro, fennel, greens (arugula, Swiss chard, collards, kale, mustard, spinach & turnip), herbs (dill, mint, oregano, rosemary & sage), kolhrabi, lettuce (butter-head, red leaf & Romaine), green onions, onions, parsley, fresh frozen shelled peas (black eyed, Brown Crowder, Lady cream, purple hull & zipper cream), fresh unshelled peas (English, snow & sugar snap), shelled pecans, red potatoes, radicchio (Italian chicory), radishes (globe & red), strawberries, greenhouse tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes and turnips.

The Nacogdoches Farmers’ Market, located at the “hitch lot” at the corner of West Main and Pearl Streets, is open from 8 a.m. until noon or later every Saturday morning. If the market parking lot is full, additional parking is available in the Nacogdoches County Courthouse Annex parking lot. Our Wednesday markets our back so you can shop the Farmer’s Market every Wednesday, from 2 to 6 p.m.
