July 17: NPD Crime Report

This is a complete list of reports responded to by the Nacogdoches Police Department

P12-12319- Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child- a mother reported a possible sexual assault of a one year old child. After being treated by a doctor on a medical issue, the doctor suggested a possible sexual assault. Child Protective Services was notified and an investigation was opened. There are no suspects at this time.

P12-12331- An NPD officer that was leaving a vehicle burglary on the NE Loop spotted a vehicle that matched the description of the suspect vehicle. The officer attempted to stop the vehicle, a Ford pickup, in the 200 block of North Stallings Drive. The vehicle refused to stop, and turned down Jade Street. The vehicle was abandoned and the suspect fled on foot. The suspect vehicle then rolled into a parked car, causing damage. The suspect was not located, and the investigation is continuing. The Ford pickup was found to be stolen from Houston, Texas. There is no other information at this time.
