Bridges stated that he received permission to search the residence to see if the wanted fugitive was inside. While walking inside the residence Constable Bridges discovered methamphetamine laying in plain view. I recently read a story on a really big meth bust that involved pounds of meth being found. Does anyone know where i can find that story again? It has vanished from Ktre and no sign of it on this site.

I would like to hear about those cases swept under the carpet Bob.

Sentinel reports that Bailey pled guilty and took a 15 year sentence and is on his way to prison. Good case and quick disposition. Even DA Lostracco couldn’t fumble this time. Good work, again, Pct. 4! Looking forward to the election!

    • Bob says:

And what wasn’t reported were the three cases wiped under the carpet to avoid using a dirty informant that has made other Pct 4 cases disappear…But no one wants to hear about that as long as the headlines read nice…

      • Billy Dix says:

Every law enforcement agency has those issues. Unless they are like the NCSO and just don’t work cases.

      • Knows VOTER PCT 1's Motive says:

Yeah. Too bad the newspaper doesn’t print everything. Trading 3 to get one doesn’t seem like law enforcement is getting ahead, does it?

        • Billy Dix says:

You must assume that the “three cases” referred to were individual cases on three separate individuals. Be careful now, you know what those assumptions make out of you.

Just wish someone would have looked in to that address back in Dec. when I gave a tip it would have been a lot bigger bust but I’m still happy with the outcome. Also there is no telling how much dope got flushed befor the search.

  5. A Mother says:

Awesome! If my memory serves me correctly, Travis Bailey has been “one step ahead” of officers trying to arrest him. Way to sniff out the drugs AND FUGITIVES, of course Jason Bridges does seem to have the nose of a bloodhound…….works for me! Thank you Jason Bridges and thank you to the deputies, for another job well. Very happy Bailey has been removed from my “neck of the woods”, just increased the chances that my son won’t “cross paths with him!”

  6. Knows VOTER PCT 1's Motive says:

Great job, Bridges. Too bad you won’t be constable anymore and have absolutely no chance whatsoever of being elected sheriff. We’re going to miss your services.

    • Billy Dix says:

Get on back to wiping tables at the Tin Star. Grown people are discussing this.

      • Knows VOTER PCT 1's Motive says:

I love the fact that you think I’m Cody. Oblivious people are so easy to beat that it’s almost sad.

        • Billy Dix says:

When did I ever say you were Cody? You are unable to see anything past your assumptions. But, keep trying to clean up behind Kerss, or ahead of him. Your choice. He needs help since he’s barely able to show up for work. Lots of people looking forward to voting him out of office.

          • Knows VOTER PCT 1's Motive says:

Can’t even keep up with your own comments, can you? “. . .keep wiping tables at the Tin Star. . .” Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know what you’re implying.

You won’t be voting him out of office this time, but you will be looking for another job.

            • Billy Dix says:

It’s a lost cause with expecting you to pick up on anything that’s not full out obvious and hits you right between the eyes, isnt it? The reference to “wiping tables” refers to your pathetic attempts to clean up for Kerss. You falling down on your job. The last publicity ploy has backfired in his face. Attempting to use the Simmons kid to get positive PR? What a dumb move. People are seeing that for what s clearly was and Kerss is drawing criticism for putting the kid out there in public. Now get back to work wiping those tables. You got more to do than you can keep up with ‘baby doll’.

  7. Billy Dix says:

Great work Pct. 4. Keep up the good job you are doing. A lot of people looking forward to the election and seeing a positive change in the SO, public and officers alike.
