Obituary: Robert “Bob” Hess

     Mr. Robert “Bob” Hess, 73, of Nacogdoches passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012, at a local hospital.

     Bob was born November 11, 1938, in Ohio. He had lived in Texas for 30 years and moved to Nacogdoches County in 2008. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. He had served as a law enforcement officer and concrete finisher but in later years enjoyed “trading” and was a wheeler dealer.

     Survivors include his wife, Sally Hess of Nacogdoches; daughter, Susan Triana and husband Wayne of Nacogdoches; sons, Bobby Casper and wife Dee of Coldspring, Billy Casper and wife Loretta of Humble, and John Casper and wife Julie of St. Louis, Missouri; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

     He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Hess; son, Billy Hess; and a daughter, Gina Seagroves.

     Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 23, at Eden Community Baptist Church, located on FM 225.

     Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the church, with Pastor Jack Lee officiating. Private graveside rites will be held at Attoyac Cemetery in San Augustine County.
