This Year’s Theme: Never Forget!
The Nacogdoches County Republican Party is having a Citizens’ – Statesmen’s Day Dinner. It will be on OCTOBER 1st and it will be at the Stephen F. Austin Twilight Ballroom. The Dinner will begin at 6:00pm. The Statesman Speaker will be Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott who has worked tirelessly for Texas for decades. General Abbott is a great statesman and we look forward to him as our speaker for this exciting event. The Citizen Honoree this year is Leon Hutchison . Leon Hutchinson has been an active citizen in Nacogdoches and was the Republican County Chair during a time of transition that took Nacogdoches from a Democrat majority county to a Republican majority county.
This year’s Theme: Never Forget. We will remember those veterans that have fought to keep us free. We will be paying special tribute to our local World War II veterans. We will also be remembering those that responded and sacrificed during the 9/11 terrorist attack.
We need two things to happen to make this event a success. First, we need sponsors. It is of paramount importance to our success that we get as many sponsors as possible. Secondly, we need to sell out ASAP. This will allow us to plan accordingly. Below are the different levels that are available. Please call us for more sponsorship package details. We need to raise the necessary funds to defeat the liberal Democrats in November 2012. A successful event will enable us to activate the plans we have in the works.
