Betty Keith

     A memorial service for Mrs. Betty L Keith, 80, of Nacogdoches, Texas will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2011, at 11:00 am at North St. Church of Christ with Bill Sherill officiating. Mrs. Keith was born on January 13, 1931, to the late Luther Brooks Franks, Sr. and Elva Dela Nipper Franks. She passed away peacefully on June 21, 2011, in Nacogdoches, Texas. Betty loved to crochet and had made over 500 afghans. She was a wonderful cook and loved spending time with all her grandchildren. She also loved to watch TV. She never failed to call her family and friends on their birthday each year. Betty is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Ernest Keith of Nacogdoches; three sons, Ronald Lynn Keith and wife, Elaine of Shreveport, Lousiana, Allen Keith and wife, Kathy of Chandler, Texas and Andy Parker Keith, of Stevensville, Montana; a daughter, Cynthia Ann Keith of Dallas, Texas; two sisters, Becky Nix, of Magnolia, Arkansas and Linda Burke, of Bastrop, Louisiana; three brothers, Luther Franks, Jr., of Magnolia, Arkansas, Joe Franks, of Bossier, Lousiana and Jimmy Franks, of Magnolia, AR; she is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.
