NACOGDOCHES POLICE ARREST BARRICADED SUSPECT AFTER HOURS LONG STANDOFF

(August 13, 2021): The Nacogdoches Police Department took the barricaded suspect into custody this afternoon around 4:42 p.m. The suspect has been identified to be Brandon Rogers 40 years of age from Nacogdoches, Tx. The suspect was wanted for Felony Evading in a vehicle from an incident that occurred in Nacogdoches on August 10, 2021 during a shoplifting investigation. Once the suspect was taken into custody he was taken to Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital for evaluation and then to the Nacogdoches County Jail. Further charges may be forthcoming. As further information becomes available it will be released.
