Nacogdoches Police are urging residents to be careful when taking cash for items that they are selling. Over the past few weeks, police have received reports that citizens are listing items for sale on the internet and being paid in counterfeit money.
In one incident, the victim was paid with counterfeit $20 bills, many of them having the same serial number.
