The Trombone Choir at Stephen F. Austin State University will present its fall concert at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5, in Cole Concert Hall. The varied program includes James Kazik's "Fanfare," Richard Birk's "Three Miniatures for a Giant," and arrangements by two SFA music majors: Plano junior Michael Swann's arrangement of Edward Grieg's "Funeral March" and Dayton senior Danny Williams' arrangement of the popular Muppet theme, "Rainbow Connection." The choir, which is directed by SFA Associate Professor Deb Scott, will present the same program in its featured performance at the Big 12 Trombone Conference at Texas Tech University on Saturday, Jan. 14. The Dec. 5 concert is a joint presentation of the SFA College of Fine Arts and School of Music. Tickets are $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and $2 for students.
