Man arrested and charged with injury to a child

     The Nacogdoches County Constable Office Precinct 4 has arrested a man from Kingtown Wednesday afternoon for injury to Child. Constable Jason Bridges stated that his office responded to an assault that had occurred at a residence in the kingtown community. Upon arrival Deputy Constable’s found that a 7 year child had been the victim of an assault. After further investigation officers found that the child’s uncle has assaulted her by pushing her to the ground which resulted in injuries to the child’s head.

Warren Williams

     Deputy Constable Murray later found the actor in the assault, Warren Williams at his residence in Kingtown, Texas. Williams was charged with Injury to a child a felony 3rd degree and transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail. Constable Bridges believes that alcohol played a contributing part of why Williams may have assaulted the child. Williams was severely intoxicated when he was found at his residence and attempted to fight with Deputy Murray at the time of the arrest. Deputy Murray was able to quickly arrest Williams without further incident.
