February 12: NPD Crime Report
400 Sweetgum Driving while license invalid Officer stopped a vehicle at night for driving without its lights on. The driver was found to have a suspended license and was arrested.
2500 Pearl Driving while license invalid Officer stopped a vehicle for running a stop sign. The driver was found to have a suspended license and was arrested.
1200 North Theft Store Manager discovered a large amount of money missing from a deposit.
2100 Banita Assault Family Violence Officer contacted a subject who stated her ex-husband slapped her during an argument.
100 North Possession of Marijuanna Officer stopped a vehicle at night due to a highlight being out. Officer could smell marijuana coming from the vehicle and located a plastic bag of marijuana in the vehicle. The driver was arrested.
1600 Martinsville Credit Card Abuse Complainant stated an unauthorized charge to Macy’s department store was found on her statement.
900 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd Driving while license invalid Officer stopped a vehicle for speeding. The driver was found to have a suspended license and was arrested.
200 W Seale Theft Complainant stated a known subject took his stereo system and pawned it.

Obituary: Hazel K. Hartt
A Funeral Service for Hazel K. Hartt, 87, will be Monday, February 14, 2011, at 10:00 am at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Nacogdoches, Texas.
Hazel died on Thursday, February 10, 2011, in Nacogdoches. She was born April, 6, 1923.
Visitation will be from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Sunday, February 13, 2011.
