Arthur Cullen Faulkner
Arthur Cullen Faulkner, 91, of Nacogdoches, Texas, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2011, in Nacogdoches.
Arthur was born January 31,1920, in Nacogdoches, Texas, to Cullen A. and Carrie Olds Faulkner. He was employed with NIBCO for 37 years as a pattern maker. Arthur loved fishing, gardening, wood work and was a member of the Baptist Church. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
Survivors include his children, Charles E. and Arlene Faulkner, Marty and Dennis Harper, and David Faulkner; grandchildren, Deana and Robert Germany of Spring, Texas, Darla Faulkner and Troy Burnett of Spring, Texas, Scott and Katie Moses of Jacksonville, Texas, Brandi and Elliott Haltom of Nacogdoches, Texas, Caleb and Stacy Faulkner of Cushing, Texas, and Seth Faulkner of Cushing, Texas; great-grandchildren, Kalista Germany, Taylor Denney, Skylar Denney, Dylan Denney, Ethan Haltom, James Moses, Katy Moses, Delaney Moses, Amanda Moses, Carlie Massey, Caitlin Massey, Cullen Faulkner, Faith Faulkner, and Hope Faulkner; sister, Fannie Reed Pegg of Houston, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 51 years, Marjorie; sister, Olivet Kendrick; brother, Bernard Faulkner; and son, Arthur Ray Faulkner.
Funeral services are set for 2:00 pm Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel with Bro. Bob Little officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Nacogdoches.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm prior to the service on Saturday, April 9, 2011.
Pallbearers will be Felix Segura, Gene May, Tom Hurst, Jason Heflin, Rickey Jamison, and Robert Castleberry.
