Winner’s announced in Blueberry Window Contest

The Nacogdoches Main Street Office in conjunction with the Texas Blueberry Festival held a downtown merchants window-decorating contest this week. Merchants competed for bragging rights in the “Blueberry” themed display. Participants were asked to meet certain criteria including visibility from the street, and of course utilizing Blueberry themes in their endeavors.
This year’s winners are: First Place: Glass Castle, Second Place, House of Traditions, and Third Place, The Wildflower. “The judges had a tough time deciding the winners, all of the windows were top notch,” said Main Street Manager Sarah O’Brien. “We were so excited to once again join forces with the Chamber and show downtown’s support for the Texas Blueberry Festival.”
For more information or questions about the window display or the Nacogdoches Main Street Program’s revitalization efforts please contact the Nacogdoches Main Street Office at 936-559-2573 or via email at obriens@ci.nacogdoches.tx.us.
