Mr. Hugh Alvin Peloquin, age 52, of Garrison, Texas, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2012, in Nacogdoches County, Texas.
Mr. Peloquin was born October 5, 1960, in Kinder, Louisiana, and had worked 35 years as a crane operator in construction. He attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Hugh was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing as well as wood working activities.
Survivors include his wife, Linda J. Peloquin of Garrison, Texas; a son, Hugh Brett Taylor and wife Gina of Baytown, Texas; mother, Betty Louviere and husband Jesse of Sulphur, Louisiana; brother, Bernard Peloquin of Florida; sister, Gayle Jane Metcalf of Sulphur, Lousiana; grandson, Zachary Taylor of Baytown, Texas; and a granddaughter, Azaleea Taylor of Baytown, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Albert Peloquin.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 13, 2012, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2508 Appleby Sand Road in Nacogdoches, with Monsignor James E. Young officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Garrison.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 12, 2012, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel, 5400 North Street.

Mr. John William “Bill” Mebane, age 68, of Nacogdoches, Texas, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at his residence.
Mr. Mebane was born July 25, 1944, as a son of the late Horace Franklin Mebane and Birdie Marie (Clutter) Mebane and was a member of Northwood Baptist Church, Nacogdoches. He was a native and lifelong resident of Alvin until moving to Nacogdoches following retirement as an operator with British Petroleum.
Survivors: his wife, Jan Mebane of Nacogdoches; three children, Joe Mebane and wife Becky of Nacogdoches, Jenny Culbertson and husband Ross of Plano, and Michael Mebane and partner Robert Glickstein of New York City; sister, Nancy Barker of Frankstown, Colorado; a brother, Frank Mebane of Alvin; and granddaughters, Elizabeth and Abby of Nacogdoches.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel, located at 5400 North Street, in Nacogdoches, Texas, with Pastor Benny Lewis and Chaplain Bob Harbuck officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, located at 5127 North Street in Nacogdoches, Texas.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 12, 2012, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel, 5400 North Street.

Bruce David Bailey, age 53, of Nacogdoches, Texas, passed away October, 9, 2012, at Nacogdoches Memoral Hospital.

He was born August 25, 2012, in Port Neches, Texas, and was a U.S. Army veteran.

Mr. Bailey was a retired welder.

His survivors include his mother, Patsy Ruth (Bridwell) Richey of Nacogdoches, Texas; a half-brother, Cy Jenkins III of Jacksonville, Texas; an uncle, Carl Bridwell and wife Brenda of Mansfield, Arkansas; and an aunt, Robbie Bridwell of Nacogdoches, Texas.

Graveside services are set for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, at Sunset Memorial Park, located at 5127 North Street in Nacogdoches, Texas, with Bro. Garrel Faulkner officiating.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Cason Monk-Metcalf.
