Man arrested and charged with Child Pornography

The Nacogdoches County Sheriff Office has arrested a Nacogdoches Man on Child Pornography charges after a search warrant was conducted on his residence. Sheriff Jason Bridges stated that his office received information that the suspect had surveillance cameras set up in his residence and was secretly recording visitors at his residence in the bathroom. The Sheriff Office conducted an investigation into the allegations and developed probable cause for a search warrant of the residence located on FM 3314.
Thursday morning around 10:30 am Sheriff Investigators executed the search warrant on the residence. At the residence Investigators found hidden cameras throughout the residence that were aimed in secluded locations such as bathrooms and guest bedrooms. During the search investigators started finding massive amounts of pornography inside the suspect’s bedroom. A brief search of the suspect’s computer revealed several images of child pornography that had been downloaded onto the computer.
Investigators have also found numerous homemade video recordings that people were unknowingly videotaped while inside the residence. Three computers, several other electronic items, DVD’s, notebooks, and several other components of pornography were seized from the residence.
Sheriff Investigators along with Texas Ranger Travis Brazil investigated the scene. The suspect, Justin Lejeune 31 years of age was not at the residence during the execution of the search warrant. Investigators located the suspect at work and conducted an interview with him. During the interview the suspect has given a confession to the child pornography found on his computer and secret video tapes he made of guest visiting his home. Lejeune was then taken into custody and transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail on charges of possession of Child Pornography a 2nd felony.
Sheriff Jason Bridges stated that the evidence discovered at the scene leads us to believe that the suspect has been making and recording these homemade videos for over 5 years. We have also found numerous names inside the suspect’s journal. There could be unknowingly numerous victims out there that we are going to have to identify during this investigation.
Sheriff Bridges stated that it could take well over a month to go through all the evidence and identify victims in this case. The Sheriff Office, Texas Rangers, FBI and the Lufkin Police Dept. are assisting with the investigation. Sheriff Bridges stated that the Lufkin Police Department computer forensics has taken custody of the computers seized in the residence and will be processing and analyzing those images found on the computers.
The Sheriff Office is also obtaining another warrant today on Justin Lejeune for improper image photography or visual recording which is a state jail felony and another charge for Possession of Child Pornography a 2nd felony will be filed. Sheriff Bridges expects additional charges to be filed once the investigation is fully completed. This appears to be one of the largest pornography cases that we have had in Nacogdoches County in sometime.
