According to police reports:
Around 2 a.m., Tuesday, a 2001 dodge pickup was southbound when it struck a utility pole at the intersection of South and Pillar. The driver was Tommy Obar of Nacogdoches. He was suspected of being intoxicated and was arrested for DWI.
