February 20: NPD Crime Report

     P11~02609 ~2912 ~ CHIMNEY ROCK ~ UUMV ~ COMPLAINANT ADVISED THAT AN UNKNOWN PERSON STOLE HIS 1993 GMC TRUCK RED IN COLOR SOMETIME DURING THE NIGHT.

     P11~02619 ~ 407 HOUSTON ST ~ THEFT ~ COMP WAS CONTACTED ABOUT A VEHICLE HE WAS ATTEMPTING TO SELL ON E-BAY. SUSPECT ADVISED HE COULD NOT USE E-BAY BUT COULD PAY BY USE OF PAY-PAL. COMP RECEIVED AN E-MAIL FROM WHAT HE THOUGHT WAS PAY-PAL FOR 800 MORE THAT THE AGREED UPON PRICE. SUSPECT ASKED COMP TO SEND THE EXTRA 800 TO HIS FRIEND TO TAKE CARE OF THE SHIPPING. COMP SENT THE MONEY WESTERN UNION THEN DISCOVERED THAT THE PAY-PAL EMAIL AND ACCOUNT WAS FAKE.

     P11~02618 ~ 2214 SOUTH ST ~ THEFT ~ COMPLAINANT ADVISED THAT UNKNOWN SUBJECT STOLE A U-HAUL CAR HAULING TRAILER FROM HIS BUSINESS.

     P11~02616 1400 CARDINAL ST ~ CREDIT CARD ABUSE ~ UNKNOWN ACTOR USED THE COMPLAINANTS CREDIT CARD INFORMATION TO MAKE A PURCHASE IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY WITHOUT THE COMPLAINANTS PERMISSION OR KNOWLEDGE.

     P11~02620 ~ 4810 NORTH ST ~ THEFT ~ ON 021911 THE COMPLAINANT’S PURSE WAS MISTAKENLY LEFT IN A SHOPPING BUGGY IN THE PARKING LOT OF A DEPARTMENT STORE. SHE RETURNED A FEW MINUTES LATER AND DISCOVERED THAT IT HAD BEEN TAKEN BY AN UNKNOWN PERSON.

     P11~02637~ 1700 MARTINSVILLE ST ~ HIT-N-RUN~ WHILE WORKING IN THE 1700 OF MARTINSVILLE ST, OFFICER OBSERVED A VEHICLE CRASHED ON THE SIDE OF THE ROADWAY. THE VEHICLE HAD STRUCK A LARGE PINE TREE AND HAD EXTENSIVE FRONT END DAMAGE. THERE WAS NOT ANYONE AROUND THE VEHICLE UPON POLICE CONTACT.

     P11~02657~ 327 W COLLEGE ST; 128 ~ ASSAULT ~COMPLAINANT ADVISED THAT HIS GIRL-FRIEND OF SEVERAL YEARS ASSAULTED HIM. THE COMPLAINANT DID NOT WISH TO FILE CHARGES.

     P11~02662~ 1424 NORTH ST ~ DWI ~ OFFICERS RECEIVED A CALL CONCERNING TWO INDIVIDUALS URINATING IN FRONT OF THE STORE. OFFICERS ARRIVED IN THE AREA AND LOCATED THE VEHICLE ON CAMPUS. THE DRIVER, JOHN GOMEZ, WAS FOUND IN AN INTOXICATED STATE. GOMEZ WAS ARRESTED.

     P11~02650~ 3001 EJ CAMPBELL BLVD ~ ASSAULT ~ COMPLAINANT STATED THAT HER BROTHER CAUSED PHYSICAL CONTACT WITH HER WHICH SHE FOUND OFFENSIVE. SHE DID NOT WISH TO FILE CHARGES.

     P11~02638~ 1500 NORTH ST ~ D.U.I./POM/FURNISHING ALCOHOL ~ OFFICERS CONTACTED THE SUSPECTS DURING A TRAFFIC STOP. OFFICERS ARRESTED THE DRIVER, BRITNEY RODGERS, FOR DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE BY MINOR. THE PASSENGER, LAJOIA RECORD, WAS ARRESTED FOR FURNISHING ALCOHOL AND POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA.

     P11~02633~ 3801 NORTH ST ~ CRIMINAL MISCHIEF ~ COMPLAINANT ALLEGES THAT AN UNKNOWN PERSON THREW OR SHOT AN OBJECT AT THE WINDOW BREAKING IT.

     P11~02641~ 510 SHAWNEE ~ DEADLY CONDUCT/ CRIMINAL TRESPASS ~ ALLEGES THAT A KNOWN SUSPECT CAME TO HER RESIDENCE AND SHOT AT HER TWICE. COMPLAINANT WISHES TO FILES CHARGES ON THE SUBJECT.
