Screen Shot 2022-01-16 at 9.51.59 AMOn January 16, 2022, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the City of Nacogdoches public water system, TX#1740003, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to a loss of water pressure, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes for the area North of 259 to Central Heights.

The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of January 17, 2022.

The City will continue to monitor the water throughout the public water system to ensure the quality of the water distributed is adequate for human consumption.

If you have any questions concerning this matter you many contact City of Nacogdoches Water Utilities, Bart Allen or Ronnie Lyles, 936-564-5046
