NEA Big Read Nacogdoches Week 3 Events

Week 3 of the NEA Big Read Nacogdoches celebration of the
book, The House on Mango Street,includes programs for children, adults and families.

The week begins with the Women in the Window BookDiscussionon October
18th at 5:30 pm. This will be followed by a book discussion at The Cottage Wine &
Bistro on October 19th at 5:30pm.

Programs will then take a nontraditional approach to book discussions with a food
fusion program on October 20th, pottery painting at Piecemaker’s Studio, trivia night at
Fredonia Brewery, and a maker camp at the library all on October 21st, poetry night at
Stone Fort Museum on October 22nd, and a clothing swap on October 23rd. Specific

The programs are made possible through a grant from the National Endowment
for the Arts, Arts Midwest, and donations. The NEA Big Read is a program of the
National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest.
