February 16: NPD Crime Report

     POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA-DWLI; 100 BLOCK OF CRAVEN. OFFICERS LOCATED A VEHICLE THAT WAS REPORTED AS A RECKLESS DRIVER. OFFICERS LOCATED SUSPECTED MARIJUANA DURING THE CONTACT AND FOUND THAT THE DRIVER HAD A SUSPENDED LICENSE. THE DRIVER WAS ARRESTED.

     POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE-EVADING ARREST-POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA-MUNICIPAL COURT WARRANTS; 200 BLOCK OF SWEETGUM. OFFICER ATTEMPTED A TRAFFIC STOP IN THE 100 BLOCK OF SWEETGUM STREET. THE VEHICLE REFUSED TO STOP FOR OFFICER AND CONTINUED TRAVELING AT A LOW RATE OF SPEED AND TURNED INTO A PRIVATE DRIVE ON GOUND STREET. THE DRIVER, CORDALE ARNOLD, WAS FOUND TO BE IN POSSESSION OF CRACK COCAINE, ECSTACY AND SUSPECTED MARIJUANA. HE WAS ARRESTED.

     HIT AND RUN; 1700 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. A VEHICLE PARKED IN A PARKING LOT WAS STRUCK BY AN UNKNOWN VEHICLE THAT LEFT THE SCENE.

     FRAUD; 1000 BLOCK OF NORTH MOUND. COMPLAINANT REPORTED THAT A KNOWN SUSPECT HAD STOLEN PRESCRIPTION SHEETS FROM A PAD AND USED A STAMP TO VALIDATE THEM TO OBTAIN PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION.

     THEFT; 100 BLOCK OF HASLEY. AN AIR CONDITIONER UNIT WAS STOLEN FROM OUTSIDE A RESIDENCE.

     ABANDONING OR ENDANGERING A CHILD-EVADING ARREST-PROBATION WARRANT- WARRANT FOR DELIVERY OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE; 1000 BLOCK OF RANDALL STREET. OFFICER STOPPED A VEHICLE FOR A TRAFFIC VIOLATION. THE DRIVER OF THE VEHICLE FLED ON FOOT, ABANDONING A FOUR YEAR OLD CHILD IN THE VEHICLE. OFFICERS MADE TELEPHONE CONTACT WITH THE SUSPECT WHO THEN RETURNED TO THE SCENE. JAQUALIN TANNER WAS ARRESTED.

     POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA; 2200 BLOCK OF BANITA STREET. OFFICER STOPPED A SUSPECT FOR A PEDESTRIAN VIOLATION. OFFICER LOCATED SUSPECTED MARIJUANA ON THE SUSPECT’S PERSON. HE WAS ARRESTED.
