February 3: NPD Crime Report

     300 block of Humphrey Rd. (Abusive Calls to 9-1-1) Subject called 9-1-1 asking for a ride to get her children. After being told not to call 9-1-1 unless she had an emergency, she called three more times. Officers contacted her and found her to be very intoxicated. She was placed under arrest.

     605 block of Harris (BMV) Victim left his vehicle unlocked and sometime in the early morning hours and someone removed his Panasonic CD stereo.

     600 block Spokane St. (POM) Officers responded to Spokane St. to serve a felony warrant on a subject. Officers located her hiding in a closet and had to pull her out. Subject was arrested and also found to be in possession of marijuana.

     1400 Martinsville St. (POM) Officers received a report of people smoking marijuana inside a parked car. Officers arrived and contacted three subjects. Officer found a small bag of marijuana on one, and residue on and near the others. They were arrested.

     3800 North St. (DWI) Officer stopped a vehicle that was weaving in the roadway. Officer found the driver in an intoxicated condition and placed him under arrest.

     300 N. University Dr. (Assault) A fight was reported at a local church. The complainant stated he was having a marriage counseling class when one of the husbands became aggravated. The husband confronted the complainant afterward and a scuffle ensued. The husband left the area and was later stopped by officers. No injuries were observed and neither party wished to pursue charges.
