February 1: NPD Crime Report

     414 Roberts St ~ BMV. Complainant advised that an unknown subject broke out the window of his 2001 silver Dodge truck and stole a pair of binoculars some time during the night.

     503 E Main St ~ Theft ~ Officers contacted complainant at Goodwill regarding a theft. She reported that unknown suspects entered the fenced area and removed hand tools, a CD stand, TV, and a VCR between 1800 on the 29th and 0815 on the 31st. Some of the items were located behind the old Main Theater.

     4515 North St ~ Found Property- The complainant found a TX DL and a tube of lipstick behind the business. Officers couldn’t locate the owner and the property was placed into evidence.

     2403 North St ~ Burglary (Building) ~ Officers contacted complainant at Dominos Pizza regarding a BOB. He advised he discovered the side door to the business open and his Toshiba laptop computer was missing from the office. Another employee discovered there was dough missing from the refrigerator.

     3220 North St ~ Theft ~ Officers contacted complainant at Austin Place apartments regarding a copper theft from a roof top air conditioner unit.

     409 Russell BLVD ~ Recovered Narcotics ~ Complainant contacted NPD regarding a drug complaint. She reported that she rented a vehicle and found a baggy containing marijuana.

     1122 N University Dr ~ Theft ~ Officers responded to a shoplifting complaint at Burke’s Outlet in the mall. The officers discovered three subjects took clothing from the store and left without paying. The suspects were located and the property was recovered. All three suspects were arrested.

     4501 North St ~ POM ~ Officers responded to a fight call at Hastings. One party reportedly involved was found in possession of marijuana and was arrested.

     2500 South St ~ DWI ~ Officers responded to a minor accident on South St. The driver was found to be under the influence of an unknown substance and was arrested.
