Transportation Update given at Chamber luncheon

jeffersLearn more about the roads, highways and future interstate projects that affect us all at the Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce Fourth Friday Luncheon. The meeting is from 12 to 1 p.m. on April 26 at The Fredonia Hotel and Convention Center, 200 N. Fredonia St.

City Manager Jim Jeffers will present “Nacogdoches Transportation Updates” that will include I-69 updates and plans and transportation projects in Nacogdoches.

“Transportation issues are critical to the development of Nacogdoches County,” according to C. Wayne Mitchell, President & CEO of the Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce. “City Manager Jeffers will provide an update on current and future transportation projects in our region. Mr. Jeffers has been extraordinary in preparing the business community for the impacts of transportation projects and we are anxious to hear about the status of these projects.”

All attending may enter the $50 drawing sponsored by Commercial Bank of Texas, and all Chamber members are entered in a $250 drawing sponsored by Axley & Rode, LLP, but you must be present to win.
