January 27: NPD Crime Report

     BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE; 1600 BLOCK OF CARDINAL. A VEHICLE WAS FORCIBLY ENTERED AND A STEREO WAS REMOVED.

     BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE; 1400 BLOCK OF MARTINSVILLE. A VEHICLE WAS FORCIBLY ENTERED AND A STEREO WAS DAMAGED. STOLEN ITEMS INCLUDE TWO TEXTBOOKS AND A SMALL AMOUNT OF CASH.

     THEFT; 100 BLOCK OF NORTH CHURCH STREET. AN UNLOCKED JEWELRY CASE WAS ENTERED BY UNKNOWN SUSPECTS DURING BUSINESS HOURS AND SEVERAL PIECES OF BRIGHTON BRACE JEWELRY WERE TAKEN.

     AGGRAVATED ASSAULT; 1300 BLOCK OF CLEAVER. TWO INDIVIDUALS WERE INVOLVED IN A DISTURBANCE. ONE OF THE INDIVIDUALS PICKED UP A PORT AND ATTEMPTED TO STRIKE THE OTHER. THIS SAME SUSPECT THEN TRIED TO CUT THE COMPLAINANT WITH A KNIFE. WARRANT REQUESTED.
