August 15th, 2018 Nacogdoches, Tx – Two Nacogdoches companies are celebrating the construction of new facilities that will be commemorated on August 27th 2018 at 10:00am. Elliott Electric Supply’s historic Store #1, currently located at 3804 South St., is moving to a new location next to the company’s headquarters at 2526 N. Stallings Drive, where the ground breaking will be held. The NacSpace IT data center will also be making its debut as one of the two new buildings at the Stallings Drive location.

The new Store #1 location will offer an expanded and more accommodating counter area providing additional space for customers to view the latest cutting-edge electrical products. Elliott Electric Supply customers will also benefit from being able to access a larger inventory with the expanded warehouse operation. Additionally, the new location on Stallings Drive will be more convenient and accessible for customers than the current South Street location. The Lighting Showroom located in the new Store #1 will feature interactive displays that will allow Elliott Electric Supply’s lighting professionals to better serve their customer’s needs. The new location’s increased capacity to serve East Texas customers is expected to create new jobs for the region’s residents.

The second facility breaking ground is a state-of-the-art information technology center that will be the headquarters for the new company NacSpace. NacSpace has emerged from decades of providing in-house software and hardware development to support Elliott Electric Supply’s growth to more than 150 stores across 8 southern states. In observance of the information technology industry in East Texas, NacSpace was founded in an effort to use their accumulated expertise and initiative as a catalyst for the growth and sustainability of IT jobs in East Texas. Not only will NacSpace offer Managed IT Services, the facility will also provide cost-effective Office Work Space solutions for small businesses and will house a data center designed with Tier II Plus standards in mind, the first of its kind in East Texas. The data center will bring regional solutions for data infrastructure to the Nacogdoches area with the center featuring secured interconnectivity, reliable and redundant high-density power, and a server room with rack space for dedicated business servers.
