The Nacogdoches County Chamber’s board of directors recently approved the addition of a new staff position, a member-focused coordinator. In June, Shari Thomason was hired to fill the position and has hit the ground running.
Current Chamber members now have a dedicated staff contact and are encouraged to contact Thomason to discuss member benefits and Chamber involvement. Thomason will also visit with businesses considering joining the Chamber membership.
C. Wayne Mitchell, President & CEO is excited about this opportunity. “This new position will allow us to have more frequent contact with our members and assist us in both new member additions and the retention of existing members,” he said.
