January 19 Crime Log: Fight something your own size

     CRIMINAL MISCHIEF; 3400 BLOCK OF EAST MAIN STREET. COMPLAINANT REPORTED THAT A KNOWN SUSPECT HAD DAMAGED A VEHICLE BY HITTING IT WITH HIS FIST. THE SUSPECT WAS CONTACTED AND ADMITTED TO HITTING THE CAR. THE COMPLAINANT DID NOT WISH TO FILE CHARGES.

     HIT AND RUN; 3000 BLOCK OF CHIMNEY ROCK. AN UNKNOWN VEHICLE STRUCK A UTILITY POLE AND LEFT THE SCENE.

     THEFT; 3400 BLOCK OF EAST MAIN. A BAR BE QUE GRILLE WAS TAKEN FROM A PATIO BY UNKNOWN SUSPECTS.

     BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE; 600 BLOCK OF SW STALLINGS DRIVE. A VEHICLE WAS FORCIBLY ENTERED AND A PURSE WAS STOLEN.

     FAILURE TO IDENTIFY; 4800 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. THE SUSPECT WAS STOPPED ON A TRAFFIC STOP AND GAVE A FALSE NAME. THE SUSPECT WAS IDENTIFIED AND WAS ARRESTED.

     THEFT; 3300 BLOCK OF PEARL STREET. FOUR CHAIRS WERE STOLEN FROM THE POOL AREA OF AN APARTMENT COMPLEX.

     THEFT; 3100 BLOCK OF NORTH PECAN. A LARGE METAL CART WAS STOLEN FROM A LAUNDRYMAT. OFFICER LOCATED THE SUSPECT AND FOUND HER TO BE IN POSSESSION OF THE CART. JASMINE PLEASANT WAS ARRESTED.

     THEFT; 3200 BLOCK OF NORTH UNIVERSITY DRIVE. A FEMALE SUSPECT PLACED SEVERAL VIDEOS IN HER PURSE AND ATTEMPTED TO LEAVE THE STORE WITHOUT PAYING. THE SUSPECT WAS CONFRONTED, AND DUMPED OUT THE VIDEOS AND FLED THE STORE.
