January 8 Crime Log: No good deed goes unpunished

     3022 N. Pecan (Theft) Friends came over to the victim’s apartment. One of the guests was allowed to use a roommate’s computer. The guest was left alone with the computer and when the residents returned, the computer was gone and front door unlocked.

     600 block of Pearl (Interference with Emergency phone call) Victim stated her husband had been drinking and they got in an argument. He started kicking the walls and throwing things. When she tried to call the police, he took the phone away. The husband was arrested.

     3000 block of EJ Campbell (Agg Assault FV) Victim stated his wife was giving him a ride back from work when they started arguing about their children. He was in the back seat when she stopped the car, got a kitchen knife from the glove box, opened the back door and stabbed him the leg. He then fled the scene and called the police.

     1400 block of Clevenger (BOH) Victim reported sometime between 0900 and 1445 hrs today someone kicked in his front door. A Dell laptop, Kodak camera, Sony camcorder, $300, and numerous items of jewelry were taken.
