Build a Better World: Summer Reading Kickoff at the Public Library

Community members of any age will find something to do, read, and learn this summer at the library. The Nacogdoches Public Library is thrilled to announce the upcoming summer reading program with the theme of Build a Better World. The 2017 Summer Reading Program is open to everyone, preschoolers to adults, with programs, prize drawings, a reading challenge, and more. The Public Library supports literacy and stresses the importance of keeping up with reading over the summer. The Summer Kickoff Party will be on Saturday, June 3rd at noon, and, in addition to fun and games, attendees can register for events and sign up for the Summer Reading Challenge. This year, patrons may log their reading through an online portal at http://judybmcdonald.readsquared.com, where they can also measure their success and challenge friends, find out about upcoming events, get book recommendations, play games, and more. Please call 936-559-2970 for additional information. The Nacogdoches Public Library is on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
