January 2 Crime Log: We’d be happy to give you a ride

     P11-00078 ~ 2500 Woden Rd ~ False Alarm or Report ~ Ontavian Edingbyrd called 911 and reported he had been kidnapped by two women at a night club and dropped off in Nacogdoches. When officer contacted him, he admitted he just needed a ride to Center. He also had a warrant from Travis County for his arrest and given a ride to the county jail.

     P11-00081 ~ 3900 SE Stallings Dr. ~ Assault FV ~ Caller advised he saw a man go inside his girlfriends home. Officers arrived and found that William Scott had broken through a window and entered the home. Officers found that once inside he had assaulted the resident. Comp did not wish to file for breaking into the residence, suspect was arrested for assault.

     11-0022 ~ 1700 Chandler ~ Kidnapping/Assault FV ~ a known suspect became upset with victim due to her not wanting to get back into a relationship with him. Suspect physically forced victim into his car after she came outside of her house to see what he wanted. While driving the victim was able to slam the vehicle in park as it slowed to make a turn. The suspect attempt to retain the victim, but she was able to flee and call police. Warrants requested.

     11-0024 ~ 1000 South ~ Burg Coin Op ~ comp called to report damage to his soda machine, officers discovered the machine had been broken into and severely damaged.

     11-0037 ~ 4800 North ~ Theft M-A ~ comp went to Walmart taking his ipad with him. When he returned home he could not find it and believes someone stole it out of his shopping cart at walmart. It was entered into TCIC.

     P11-00055 ~ 500 E. Seale ~ BOH ~Victim had left his residence on the 28th of December and when he arrived home he discovered his wireless router, XBOX 360 and about 20 games missing. No forced entry could be found.

     P10-00058 ~ 200 Mitchell St. ~ Indecency with a child ~ Complainants reported a neighbor Paul Motes was invited to their home to play video games with them. Later the mother sent their 8-year-old daughter to take a shower. When she checked on her, she found Motes inside the bathroom watching her daughter. Motes was arrested.

     P11-00056 ~ 2400 Saratoga St. ~ Criminal Mischief & Agg Assault ~ While having an argument Melissa Washington grabbed a knife and threatened her husband. Melissa was arrested. Later her son threw several bricks through the windows of the home.

     P11-00069 ~ 1300 North ~ BMV~ Victim parked her vehicle at 1700 hrs and when she returned at 2335 hrs she discovered her passenger’s window broken out and her purse missing

      P11-00065 ~ 4800 North ~ Theft SJF & Engaging in Organized Crime) comp informed us that his wife’s purse was taken from her shopping cart at Wal-Mart. The purse was located, but found to be missing $1200, $500 Visa gift card, and ID cards. Video shows three B/Fs with one going through the purse then dropping it.

     P11-00068 ~ 4800 North St. ~ Duty on Striking Unattended vehicle ~ comp returned home from shopping at walmart, at this time her father notice new damage to the vehicle. The damage was not there prior to the trip to walmart.

     P11-00075 ~ 2600 North St. ~DUI ~ Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation and the driver Crystal Aldalo was found to have consumed alcohol. She was under 21 years of age and was placed under arrest.

     P11-00070 ~ 1000 Reedy ~ POCS ~ Officers observed a violation of speeding and attempted to stop the vehicle. prior to the suspect stopping he was observed tossing an item from the vehicle. Officer were able to locate the item, which contained a controlled substance. The driver Detony Dunn was arrested

     P1100077 ~ 1300 South ~ Possession of Stolen Property & Burglary of a Coin Operated Machine ~ Officers observed two subjects walking on South St, one was carrying a canvas bag and wearing gloves. Subjects were stopped and identified as Marcus Rodrigues and Tommy Moore. The bag was extremely heavy containing $146 in quarters, a power drill, tire tool, and a very large broken bolt. One admitted to breaking into three vacuum machines and getting the money from there. Both were arrested.
