Jason Bridges (Pct. 4): Several methamphetamine arrests made in the last week

     The Nacogdoches County Constable Office Precinct 4 has made a series of methamphetamine arrests during the last week and has seized components for a meth lab during a search of two different houses. Constable Bridges stated that 8 felony arrests have been made in the last week involving methamphetamine and the constable office was also able to seize chemicals along with other key materials used for making methamphetamine. The methamphetamine seizures occurred during the search of two different residences and two different traffic stops.

     Constable Bridges advised that during the first of the week, the Constable Office searched a residence located on lakeside drive in Etoile near morgans cove. The Constable Office had received information of a methamphetamine lab at this residence. Deputy Constables searched the residence which resulted in the seizure of 4 grams of methamphetamine along with chemicals that are commonly used in meth labs. Bridges also stated that we seen evidence of where methamphetamine had been cooked very recently. A total of four arrests were made at the scene.

     Jacob Leonard W/M of Etoile, Barbara Torbert W/F of Etoile, Lonnie Hollingsworth of Lufkin, Connie White W/F of Lufkin was charged with possession of Controlled Substance 2nd felony.

     On 12-13-2010 the constable office gained information of more drug activity occurring at a residence on Cr. 852. The Constable office along with precinct 1and the sheriff office served an outstanding warrant at the residence and then conducted a search after receiving consent from the owner. Constable Bridges stated that more components to a meth lab were found at this location as well. Although no chemicals were found at this residence, several glass beakers, pills and other items used for manufacturing methamphetamine along with one gram of methamphetamine and several grams of marijuana. Brian Prosise and Alisha Taylor both of Nacogdoches were arrested and charged with Possession of Controlled Substance state jail felony.

     The constable Office arrested two more subjects on traffic stops. The first arrest came in Chireno, where Constable Bridges stopped a vehicle for speeding. James Chatman was arrested for a driving while license invalid. A search of the vehicle revealed several grams of methamphetamine that was concealed inside of the pickup truck. Another traffic stop by Deputy Allen occurred on Spradley Street. The driver of the vehicle was a wanted fugitive and was in possession of methamphetamine. Jason Bradley Johnson of Nacogdoches was arrested and transported to the Nacogdoches County jail.
