The Nacogdoches Police Department has received several reports of political signs being stolen or vandalized. The signs are the property of the political candidates, and persons stealing or vandalizing them can be charged. The Nacogdoches Police Department will be watching for persons tampering with legally placed political signs. Any person observing the theft or vandalism of a sign should call the NPD at 936-559-2607 immediately.
Anyone with information on political sign thefts/vandalism should call Nacogdoches Crime Stoppers at 936-560-INFO (4636). If the information results in an arrest in the case, the caller may be eligible for a cash reward. You may also submit a confidential tip at www.ncstips.com.
