Medical Center updates shared at Chamber membership luncheon

Attend the Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce Fourth Friday Luncheon and hear Nacogdoches Medical Center CEO Jeff Patterson speak to the capabilities of the organization and its vision to provide comprehensive care close to home for the citizens of Nacogdoches. The meeting is noon to 1 p.m., Friday, July 22 at Austin Hall, 4603 North St.

“The NMC Health Network provides inpatient and outpatient care to over 75,000 citizens of East Texas each and every year,” Patterson said. “Anchored by Nacogdoches Medical Center, the physicians and staff have served the community for more than 40 years.”

Patterson joined Nacogdoches Medical Center in December 2015, coming from Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, California, where he served as COO since 2013. Prior to the role, Patterson served in a number of leadership capacities, including chief business development officer for the Southern Region and COO and associate administrator of Lake Pointe Medical Center in Rowlett, Texas. He started his career at Tenet Health in 2005 as a member of the Florida Region’s Commitment to Quality team.

Patterson holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Trinity University in San
Antonio and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Texas A&M University in College Station. Named one of Modern Healthcare’s 2014 Up and Comers and Becker’s Hospital Review 2015 Rising Star, he is an active member of healthcare associations and in the communities he serves. He is currently a board member for the Nacogdoches Area United Way and member of the THA Council on Policy Development.

Jeff and his wife, Katie, are native Texans and they have three children, Avery, five-years-old, and twins Adam and Allie, one-year-old.

The information presented at Fourth Friday Luncheon is vital for all local businesses, and it serves as the Nacogdoches County Chamber’s monthly membership meeting.
