TWO WOMEN ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES

) Two women are in the Nacogdoches County Jail on felony drug charges after a traffic stop this morning on the Northwest Loop in Nacogdoches.
Nacogdoches Police officers stopped at 2007 Dodge Caravan driven by Lisa Ann Rivera, age 47 of Houston, in the 3700 block of Northwest Stallings Drive (Loop 224) for an expired motor vehicle inspection sticker.
Officers received consent to search the vehicle and officers located a modified 48 quart cooler that contained approximately four (4) pounds of powder cocaine in the vehicle.
Rivera was arrested along with a passenger, Pamela Odell Whited, age 44 of Madisonville. Both were taken to the Nacogdoches County Jail.
The street value of the cocaine is estimated to be over $175,000.00.
