Fairy Tale Friday

Do you believe there is a little magic in museums? We sure do. For a second time this summer the City of Nacogdoches Historic Sites Department and the SFA School of Theater are teaming up to present Fairy Tale Fridays.
Our 2nd Fairy Tale Friday is schedule for Friday, August 22nd at 3 p.m. at the Sterne-Hoya House Museum and Library. Princess Belle from Beauty and the Beast and Gretel from the classic Grimm fairy tale, Hansel and Gretel will be visiting the museum and telling us their stories.
Visitors are asked to arrive 10 minutes before story time starts so they can find a seat and get ready to listen. There will be light refreshments served on the front porch before story time begins. Also, children are encouraged to dress up like their favorite fairy tale character and will be able to take pictures with our actors after story time.
This event is made possible through cooperation with the Stephen F. Austin State University School of Theatre. Admission to this event is free and appropriate for all ages.
