CITY OF NACOGDOCHES HAZARD MITIGATION ACTION PLAN UPDATE

The City of Nacogdoches will hold a public meeting to receive citizen input regarding the City’s updated Hazard Mitigation Action Plan that has been approved by the Texas Division of Emergency Management and the Federal Emergency Management Agency. The purpose of the Hazard Mitigation Action Plan (HMAP) is to implement and sustain actions that reduce vulnerability and risk from hazards, or reduce the severity of the effects of hazards on people and property. The meeting will be held in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 202 E. Pilar Street as follows:

Tuesday, September 2, 2014 – 5:30 p.m.

The updated Hazard Mitigation Action Plan is available for review in the Office of the City Secretary at City Hall, 202 E. Pilar Street, Room 315 during regular business hours, as well as the City’s website at www.ci.nacogdoches.tx.us. A copy will be available at the public meeting.
