Communicating with the Hispanic market

The Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce Fourth Friday Luncheon is from noon to 1 p.m., Friday, July 25 at Quality Inn & Suites, 3400 South St. Marcela Coe, President/CEO, E.S. Translations Plus, will present “Communicating with the Hispanic Market.”
“There is no better way to reach and engage Hispanic audiences than being authentic, staying faithful to the brand pillars and communicating them with the same marketing diligence and consistency as used with the general market,” Coe said.
Coe was born and raised in Mexico. Soon after college she moved to Texas. Since then, she has worked in marketing and business development at The Men’s Wearhouse, MW Cleaners, Doches Credit Union and The Hospice of East Texas. She is now the President/CEO of E.S Translations Plus, and she is working on becoming a certified court interpreter. Coe is a member of the American Translators Association (ATA), the National Board of Certification of Medical Interpreters (NBCMI), and the American Bar Association (ABA). Her passion and love for Nacogdoches has led her to serve on the board of directors at Nacogdoches County Chamber of Commerce, Nacogdoches County United Way and the Selective Service System of Texas. She is a Leadership Nacogdoches alumni. She is married to Randy Coe and together they have an 11-year-old son, Andrew.
“Marcela Coe has been instrumental in engaging Hispanic-owned businesses with the Nacogdoches Country Chamber of Commerce,” said Adam Peck, Assistant Vice President and Dean of Student Affairs, SFASU, and Fourth Friday Luncheon program chair. “I can think of no more appropriate person to address this topic as part of our Fourth Friday Luncheon.”
The luncheon serves as the chamber’s monthly membership meeting. Attendee registration is required by noon, July 23. Please call 560-5533, and lunch is $16. Also, a register and pay securely online option is available at www.nacogdoches.org.
