Disturbance call, 100 block of Meadowbrook Drive

The Nacogdoches Police Department was called to a residence in the 100 block of Meadowbrook Drive this afternoon shortly before 1:00 PM in reference to a disturbance and possible shooting victim.

Officers determined that a male individual involved was still in the residence and that a female involved had left the residence. The male individual came out of the residence and contacted officers shortly after officers arrived on the scene.

The female involved came into the lobby of the Nacogdoches Police Station and was injured in the face. It was first reported that the female may have been shot in the cheek or cut with a knife during the disturbance on Meadowbrook. The injury did not appear to be life threatening. The female was transported to the hospital for treatment.

At the hospital, at was determined my medical professionals that the female had not been shot, but did have a facial injury.

At the time of this release, NPD detectives and officers are gathering information from witnesses and collecting evidence. No one has been arrested and no charges have been filed in this case so far.
