The 25th Annual Texas Blueberry Festival presented by Brookshire Brothers is June 13 and 14 in downtown Nacogdoches. Festival planners have cooked up a new event – the Friday Night Blueberry Blast.
Handler said, “The entertainment begins with the Cowboy Max Show at 6 p.m., and he’ll have plenty of blueberry-wranglin’ stunts and jokes. Around 6:45 p.m., local talent Miki Lynn will keep your toes a-tappin’ and rounding out the evening, beginning after 8 p.m., the KBT Choir will have you on your feet, feeling the music!”
The Friday Night Blueberry Blast will get folks ready for the delicious Texas Blueberry Festival from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 14 in downtown and Festival Park.
Other new events at the 25th Annual Texas Blueberry Festival include:
· Garden Capital of Texas Tours – free shuttle rides and a self-guided tour of the SFA Arboretum. Shuttle pick up and drop off located on N. Church St. along with the Pick-Your-Own Blueberry Farm shuttles. 8 to 11 a.m., Saturday, June 14.
· A Berry Vine Evening with Nacogdoches Main Street. “Only 200 tickets will be sold for $15 each at the downtown Visitors Center during the Texas Blueberry Festival,” said Main Street Manager Sarah O’Brien. “Eight downtown merchants will have blueberry food and wine samplings that guests can enjoy from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday.”
