POLICE SEEKING INFORMATION ON HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT

Nacogdoches Crime Stoppers is seeking information about an incident thought to be a hit and run accident. On Friday morning, May 30, 2014, a female was jogging southbound on the sidewalk in the 2500 block of North University Drive. The female was located with serious injuries just off the roadway and just north of the commuter lot of the SFASU campus. The victim’s injuries lead investigators to believe that she was struck by an unknown southbound vehicle.
The incident occurred between 9:10 and 9:20 AM. Officers are asking anyone who witnessed this incident to contact the Nacogdoches Police Department Traffic Division at 936-559-2607.
The automobile involved should have some passenger side damage and/or a damaged passenger side rear view mirror.
