Cushing residents arrested for methamphetamine and weapons

The Nacogdoches county sheriff office has arrested two Cushing people after find methamphetamine and weapons inside their home. Sheriff Jason Bridges stated that the sheriff office has been working an ongoing investigation into the distribution of methamphetamine from a residence on cr. 864 in the Cushing community.
Investigators arrived yesterday evening at the residence and spoke with two subjects at the residence. Investigators obtained consent to search the residence, which led to the discovery of 8 grams of crystal methamphetamine and two weapons inside the residence. Sheriff Investigators are further investigating that one of the weapons that were recovered may be stolen.
Jennifer Woodbury 32 years of age and James Wurm 39 years of age were both arrested for possession of a controlled substance a 2nd felony. Both subjects were transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail.
Sheriff Jason Bridges stated that other property was seized at the residence by investigators that are believed to be stolen. The investigation on the stolen property is still ongoing.
