Two men arrested following search

The Nacogdoches County Sheriff Office has arrested two Nacogdoches men in connection with two separate ongoing drug investigations. The Nacogdoches County Sheriff Office has had ongoing investigations to identify key distributors of narcotics in Nacogdoches County. As a result of those investigations, the sheriff office has seized a large amount of methamphetamine, cocaine and marijuana in Nacogdoches County in the past several months.
On Tuesday afternoon the sheriff office conducted a search warrant in the 3000 block of Fm 2259. Investigators obtained probable cause for a search warrant on a residence after obtaining information that a large amount of narcotics were being stored and sold from the residence. Upon execution of the search warrant, Deputies found 375 grams of cocaine, five pounds of marijuana, digital scales, plastic baggies and three pistols inside the suspect’s bedroom.

Damion Yarbrough

Damion Yarbrough 32 years of age was the primary suspect in the investigation and he was arrested at the scene. Yarbrough was charged with Manufacturing or Delivery of a controlled substance Felony 1st degree and Possession of marijuana a state jail felony.
Sheriff Investigators also searched another residence in the Appleby area Tuesday afternoon. Sheriff investigators obtained consent to search the residence after receiving information of methamphetamine being at the residence. A search of the residence led to the seizure of five grams of crystal methamphetamine and Xanax pills.

Rhonald Palmer 43 years of age was arrested at the scene for two counts of possession of a controlled substance, a 2nd felony and state jail felony.
