Obituary: Jeannette A. LaBar

Jeannette A. LaBar, 69, passed away in Nacogdoches on July 11, 2013. She was born to parents Edward and AV Miller on October 10, 1943 in Nacogdoches, Texas.
Jeannette was a lifelong resident of Nacogdoches and graduated from Nacogdoches High School in 1963. She married Gary LaBar of Lufkin, Texas on September 26, 1964.
Jeanette was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, a member of the Women’s Guild and attended bible study. She loved traveling, her pets, her family especially her grandchildren. Her life was centered around taking care of her husband, children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her the most.
Jeannette is survived by her sons, Eddie LaBar and wife Jani of San Antonio, Texas, David LaBar and wife Karen of Cleveland, Texas; grandchildren, Katelyn, Edward and Michael;
She was preceded in death by her parents, J. Edward and A.V. Miller; her husband of 45 years, Gary; son, Gary Lee; daughter, Angela.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted by Monsignor James Young on Monday, July 15, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on 2508 Appleby Sand Road in Nacogdoches at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Lufkin Texas.
Family and friends are invited to visitation on Sunday, July 14 from 5-7pm at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors. Rosary will follow at 7:00 pm.
Memorial contributions may be offered to Sacred Heart Catholic Church Building Fund, 2508 Appleby Sand Rd, Nacogdoches, Texas 75965.
