Five juveniles arrested for burglary

The Nacogdoches County Sheriff Office has arrested five juveniles in connection with a burglary that occurred on Cr. 804 over the Memorial Day weekend. Sheriff Jason Bridges stated that on Sunday May 26,2013 Deputies responded to a burglary call where they found forced entry made into a residence. Upon investigation, Deputies collected evidence from the scene, which lead them to identify five suspects.
Upon further investigation, Deputies found evidence at the juveniles’ residence that belonged to the victim of the case that had been burglarized. More property was later found in a wooded area behind the suspect’s residence. After an interview with the juveniles, investigators obtained confessions to the burglary that had occurred.
All five juveniles have been arrested for the charge of burglary of a habitation a 2nd felony. The juveniles are between the ages of 12 and 15 years of age. All subjects were transported to the Gregg county juvenile detention center while awaiting their court hearing. Sheriff Bridges stated that most of the property has been recovered in the case that was stolen.
