Meth lab and meth discovered during search

The Nacogdoches County Sheriff Office has seized a methamphetamine lab and methamphetamine from a search warrant that was executed in the 2900 block of press road Wednesday evening. Sheriff Jason Bridges stated that his office obtained probable cause for a search warrant on the residence after deputies gained information of narcotics being distributed.
Around 5:00 pm Wednesday evening, Nacogdoches County Deputies executed the search warrant at the residence where two men were found inside the residence. Sheriff Jason Bridges stated that a large methamphetamine lab was found inside the residence, and was scattered throughout the house.
Deputies seized several pounds of ammonia fertilizer, chemicals containing muriatic acid, acetone, drain cleaner, starter fluid, coleman fuel along with other common cooking components used in the production of methamphetamine.
The sheriff office seized two different labs at the residence. The suspects were using the shake and Bake method, which commonly is used in plastic bottles and produces about a gram or less of methamphetamine at a time. Deputies also seized another lab, in which the suspects were producing a large amount of crystal methamphetamine and using the same method that is often used by drug cartels in Mexico. There was an estimated seizure of over 50 grams of crystal methamphetamine seized. There was another five grams of methamphetamine seized from the other methamphetamine lab they were using.
Two suspects were arrested at the scene. Johnny Watson, 47 years of age, and Joseph Ogdee, 54 years of age both from Nacogdoches, Texas. Both subjects were charged with possession of controlled substance 2nd felony, Possession of certain chemicals with intent to distribute 2nd felony. Watson was also charged with a prohibited weapon a 3rd felony. Both subjects were transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail.
Sheriff Bridges stated that they have identified a female subject who was also living at the residence with a child, but was not there at the time the search warrant was executed. Sheriff Investigators are still investigating the involvement of other individuals and more additional warrants may be issued. The street value of the methamphetamine that was recovered is valued at over $5,000.00 dollars.
